Example of Vertically Oriented Photo:      A photo that is taller than it is wide.

Example of Horizontally Oriented Photo:    A photo that is wider than it is tall. 

Photos may be in color, black and white, or sepia and between 3.5x5 - 8x10 in size.  

Please verify the orientation of your photo is correct for the size and style bag you want.  In most cases either vertically oriented or horizontal oriented photos will work, however, there are exceptions.

Cropping of the photo to fit the size of the bag is almost always necessary. Photos where the subject is centered work best.  

Backgrounds should not be too dark or washed out.  Clear photos with good contrast between the subject and the background are best.

Avoid using photos where subjects are in the shade or facial features are blurry. 

Imperfections and blurred images will be magnified during the enlargement  process.

Your image will be reproduced as it appears on our equipment.  Images will not be color corrected .  

We may do small retouches (i.e. fix red eyes).  We will not edit out content or fix large imperfections.  If you are interested in extensive photo editing of this nature, send a request and we may do so for an additional charge. 

Clear, bright, close-up images will produce the best reproductions

v For Print Photos:

Never  write directly on the back of the photo.

Label your photo with name and address information on clear tape and adhered to the back of the photo.  

v For Digital Images:

Please use jpeg format when sending digital images.

When scanning, do so at a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. 

When taking your image, set your camera resolution to at least 150 dpi.
